The Who

I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful for the opportunity to create content and shape creative direction for well over a decade. I definitely fall into the category of multi-hyphenate creatives,  having worked on a wide variety of types of projects in various roles - marketing campaigns, social & digital strategy, on-air promos, digital content, documentaries, tv specials, pilots, on-the-ground production logistics and on-set directing. I’ve produced countless digital & social content pieces that have gained hundreds of millions of views & engagements.

Recently, I had the chance to write & produce Lifetime’s first ever live polling campaign for their #1 show, Married at First Sight. I really enjoyed diving into the MAFS Fam conversation online and figuring out how to funnel that energy into the weekly on-air hosted spots.

Early this year, I wrapped on showrunning Season 3 of History’s Ancient Recipes with Sohla which now has over 40 episodes and more than 20 million views across all platforms. (Honestly, that is mind-blowing to me.)

I’m also continuing to write & produce the award-winning branded medical mystery podcast Symptomatic for iHeartMedia. Watch out for our bridge season coming later this year!

I take a lot of pride in not only executing against established creative direction, but also in being a partner and consultant, helping shape brands as they pivot and grow. I’ve been able to lend my strategic skills to Lifetime, History, SYFY & NBC Sports helping shape their social strategies and brand voices to ensure they take advantage of content opportunities while staying true to their unique brand promises.

A few other recent projects include writing and producing a marketing launch campaign for A+E Networks, writing a pharma branded podcast for iHeartMedia and using my storytelling chops to support local nonprofits in the Indianapolis area.

Going back a bit, I learned how to tell engaging stories in the creative marketing world of promos, digital campaigns & social content during my time at SYFY (yes, I was there when Sharknado took over the world!). I revamped SYFY’s social strategy and content offerings, resulting in a 177% increase in engagement on Instagram, which translated into increased Ad revenue. I spearheaded the creation of the History Channel’s digital original programming slate, producing three different series. I’ve also written, produced and directed two documentaries and multiple TV specials.

I’ve been fortunate to have some genuinely amazing mentors in the past, so I continue to try to pay it forward by mentoring and hosting panels for the next generation of young professionals in the media space.
